SOP: Layer a Bot/Junk Filter Before the Money Offer

Protect payout offers from traffic that will never convert.

— Step 1: Block known datacenter IP ranges first (cheapest check, run it at the edge).
— Step 2: Flag missing/blank user-agents and headless signatures; route to safe page.
— Step 3: Rate-limit per IP: more than N clicks/minute = bucket as suspect.
— Step 4: Send suspect (not blocked) traffic to a low-value or survey offer, not your top payout.
— Step 5: Keep filters as routing, not hard 403s. A 403 to a real user is a lost conversion.
— Step 6: Sample your 'safe page' bucket weekly; if real users land there, loosen the rule.

Filters should redirect, not delete. Over-blocking costs more than the bots do.
