A: Not usually — and assuming it does breaks a lot of launch plans. Native checkout (buying inside the app without leaving) sits behind eligibility review that can take days to a couple of weeks, and approval depends on your account region, business verification, and catalog quality.

Before you apply:
— Connect a clean product catalog with accurate prices and stock
— Finish business verification in Meta Commerce Manager first
— Make sure your country actually supports in-app checkout (many don't, and you'll get product tags only)

If checkout isn't available to you, tagged products that link out still work — don't wait on a feature you may never get.

Also worth knowing: a rejected catalog item can silently stall the whole review.
