<b>Framework: Time-of-day routing rules</b>
Purpose: serve the offer that converts now, not the one that won at a different hour.
Layer dayparting on top of geo, evaluated in the click's local time:
— Business hours: lead-gen and call-center offers that need live agents
— Evening peak: entertainment, dating, sweepstakes — highest impulse window
— Overnight: route to offers with 24/7 processing, or lower weight on agent-dependent ones
Checklist:
☐ Convert to the user's local time, not your server time
☐ Confirm call-center offers auto-pause outside their staffed hours — wasted clicks otherwise
☐ Hold a 24/7 fallback for every daypart
☐ Pull EPC by hour before setting rules; assumptions are usually wrong
User local time is the only clock that matters. Verify your tracker reads it correctly.
Review the hourly EPC curve monthly.
