LEAK: server-to-server postbacks are quietly breaking on wallet-login flows
Word from a tracking-integration guy: crypto signups via wallet-connect (instead of email) are breaking click-to-conversion attribution because the redirect chain that carries your
click_id
gets dropped when the wallet popup takes over the session.
For affiliates:
— If your conversions tanked but traffic looks fine, suspect the attribution chain before you blame the offer.
— Demand server-to-server postback, not browser-pixel. Pixels die in wallet redirects and in privacy browsers; S2S survives.
— Test the full flow yourself end to end, including the wallet-connect path, and confirm your click_id lands in their system.
A broken postback looks exactly like a dead campaign. They are not the same problem.
Watch this.
