Scrubbing rejects leads with a (bad) reason. Shaving makes conversions silently not exist — your tracker fires, theirs doesn't. The tell for shaving: your S2S postbacks and the network dashboard drift apart on a consistent percentage, not random noise. Scrubbing you can dispute. Shaving you have to catch with your own pixel.
