"Framer is faster to ship than Webflow" is a myth that dies the second your site gets complex.
Framer wins the demo and the first 5 static pages. But the advice ignores what happens at scale. Webflow's CMS reference fields, nested collections, and conditional visibility let one designer model real relationships — authors linked to posts linked to categories. Framer's CMS is flatter, and once you need multi-reference content or true component variants driven by data, you're rebuilding in Webflow anyway. "Faster" only counts the first week, not the next 50.
The correction: fast-to-launch and fast-to-maintain are different metrics. Agree? Or am I wrong?
