The old wisdom — post manually because Buffer and Later get penalized by the API — is a zombie myth from the pre-2018 Instagram days. Once Meta shipped the official Content Publishing API, third-party scheduled posts and native posts hit the same ranking pipeline. The platform literally can't tell them apart anymore. If you saw a 'scheduler penalty,' it was your link-in-bio or low-effort caption, not the tool. Schedule freely; spend the saved time on the hook.
