Niche edits (link insert) vs a fresh guest post
Getting your link on a site, two products.
— Niche edit: editor drops your link into an EXISTING aged post. Faster, the page already has authority and rankings, link goes live in days. But fewer editors offer it and the context fit can be forced.
— Fresh guest post: you write new, full control of context and anchor, but it starts from zero authority and takes longer to rank.
Use niche edits when you find a relevant aged post already pulling traffic — you're piggybacking real equity. Use fresh posts when nothing existing fits your topic.
A niche edit on a 3-year-old ranking post moved my page in two weeks. Fresh ones took two months. Ask 'got an old post I could fit into?'
