Tracker Split-Testing vs Lander-Tool Split-Testing
What it is: Two places to A/B test forex funnels. Tracker-based testing (Binom, Voluum rotation) splits traffic to different landers/offers and reads results by sub-ID. Lander-tool testing (Convertful, PureLander, or a page builder's built-in A/B) tests elements inside one page.
Best for tracker testing: Comparing whole funnels: lander A + broker X vs lander B + broker Y, with FTD-level data tying back to spend.
Pros (tracker)
— Tests across offers/brokers, not just page elements
— Conversion data ties to actual FTD payout
— Statistical rotation by weight or auto-optimize
Cons (tracker)
— Can't isolate why one lander wins (which headline, which CTA)
— Needs real volume to reach significance per arm
Lander tools test the micro: headline, button color, form length, quiz order. Faster signal on element-level lifts, but blind to downstream FTD quality.
Who should skip lander-tool testing: Buyers whose bottleneck is offer/broker fit, not page polish. Fix the funnel before the font. Use the tracker.
Verdict: Tracker for funnels, lander for elements.
