Escrow is a neutral third party holding funds until conditions are met. Never release in one lump. Stage it.

1. Fund escrow only after a signed asset purchase agreement, never on a handshake.
2. Milestone 1 (release ~40%): domain registrar transfer confirmed in your account.
3. Milestone 2 (release ~30%): hosting, content files, and email list delivered and verified.
4. Milestone 3 (release ~20%): all monetization accounts (ad network, affiliate IDs) reassigned and paying to you.
5. Holdback (final ~10%): released after a 14-30 day stability window with no traffic collapse.
6. Use a known escrow service (Escrow.com, or the marketplace's built-in). Confirm it handles digital-asset terms.

Each release maps to a verified transfer. No verification, no release.
