SiteNavigationElement schema won't fix bad internal linking — stop hoping
Unpopular opinion: people markup SiteNavigationElement and ItemList expecting it to influence which pages Google treats as important. Schema describes; it doesn't distribute. Sitelinks in the SERP are algorithmic, driven by your actual internal link structure and anchors — not by the JSON-LD you sprinkled on.
Want better sitelinks? Strengthen the real internal links and anchors pointing to those subpages. Schema is a labeling tool, not a ranking lever.
Who added navigation schema and waited for sitelinks that never came because the underlying links were weak?
