How I get the exact anchor I want
Editors hate keyword-stuffed anchors. So don't ask for one. Bury it.
I write the bio with THREE links:
— A link to a big neutral site (Wikipedia-tier)
— A link to my soft brand mention
— My money link with the anchor I actually want
When the page has three outbound links it looks editorial, not paid. The editor's eye glazes over the middle one — mine.
Never send a bio with one naked keyword anchor. It screams link-builder and gets stripped. Sandwich it. One in three of my placements keeps the exact anchor now. Go try it.
