The Caption Cut SOP
Most captions bury the hook in throat-clearing. Run this two-minute edit on every one.
1. Delete the first sentence — it's almost always warm-up.
2. Move the most specific word to position one.
3. Cut every adverb and every 'just', 'really', 'very'.
4. Break one long line into two short ones for rhythm.
5. Read it aloud — if you stumble, the reader will too.
Shorter, sharper, hook-first.
Input: a draft caption. Output: a tightened one.
Run it on every caption before publishing.
