Geniuslink vs Amazon OneLink for geo-routing affiliate links

Geniuslink vs Amazon OneLink for geo-routing affiliate links

If your review traffic is global, a US-only Amazon link leaks money. Two fixes.

Amazon OneLink
Pros
— Free; routes a visitor to their local Amazon store automatically
— Native, no third party in the redirect chain
Cons
— Only Amazon — does nothing for non-Amazon offers
— Setup is fiddly per-marketplace and breaks quietly

Geniuslink
Pros
— Routes Amazon and any other retailer by country; choice pages for multi-store offers
— Real click analytics and link-health monitoring
Cons
— Paid, priced per click — high-traffic sites feel it
— Adds a redirect hop (slight latency, another point of failure)

For: OneLink if you're Amazon-only and cost-sensitive. Geniuslink if you mix retailers or want country-level click data.

Gotcha nobody mentions: Geniuslink's extra hop means a tracker/adblock list can break the link entirely for some visitors. Test on a clean profile with common blocklists before trusting your int'l revenue to it.

Bottom line: Amazon-only, OneLink. Multi-retailer or analytics-driven, Geniuslink.
