Comparison pages vs single reviews: which one actually converts

Comparison pages vs single reviews: which one actually converts
Everyone says "write reviews." Reviews are the weaker asset and here's why.

A single-tool review attracts someone still deciding IF they want the category. A "X vs Y vs Z" page catches someone who's already decided and is just picking. The second visitor is far closer to a card swipe.

The tradeoff:
— Comparison pages convert higher but you have to recommend a winner, which annoys two of the three vendors.
— Single reviews are easier to keep "neutral" but pull colder traffic.

And comparison pages age badly: pricing and feature tables rot in months.

Verdict: comparison pages out-earn reviews, but only if you commit to updating the tables. A stale comparison is just a confident lie.
