What exactly do I ask my affiliate manager about caps?
Q: I don't want to sound clueless. What cap questions should I send my AM?

A: Copy-paste this list to your manager:
— What's the daily cap, and is it on conversions or clicks?
— Does the cap reset at midnight, and in which timezone?
— Is there a total/lifetime cap on this offer?
— If I hit the cap consistently, can you raise it?
— What happens to clicks after the cap — do they still get tracked, or wasted?
— Is there a minimum volume I need to keep the offer open?

Asking precise questions makes you look pro, not green. A good AM respects it and prioritizes you.

Short version: ask cap type, reset time+zone, lifetime cap, raise path, overflow behavior, and minimum volume.
