Is Clearscope worth 3x a Frase sub? For my clients, no.
Client pays for Clearscope, I tested it head to head against a Frase + manual SERP read for a month. 12 posts each side.
Result: ranking delta was noise. Both got the entity coverage. Clearscope's grader is cleaner, the term suggestions slightly better.
But $189/mo cleaner isn't $189/mo better when I'm reading the SERP manually anyway.
Where Clearscope earns it: agencies running 50+ writers who need a consistent floor. Solo or small team? Save the cash, read the top 5 yourself.
