Reading the tea leaves on a support layoff
Word is another managed host trimmed its support floor and didn't say so. The signals show up before the headcount memo leaks:
— Chat queues that used to be instant now gate behind a callback form.
— Weekend coverage quietly downgraded to 'business hours.'
— Senior reps' names disappearing from your ticket history.
— New 'self-service' docs pushed hard at exactly the wrong moments.
— Response-time SLAs reworded from minutes to 'next available agent.'
A source tells us the docs push always precedes the layoff announcement by a few weeks.
Watch this: when the community forum suddenly gets 'official answers' from volunteers, count the empty desks.
