Run a subtitle detox on your next edit and you'll find out your video is broken.

The test, in three steps:
— Export a copy with captions off and audio muted.
— Watch it. Can you follow the story from visuals alone?
— Now mute video, keep audio. Does it still hold?

If you fail both, you didn't make a video. You made a slideshow with a teleprompter. Caption dependence is a crutch you can't see because you always watch with sound and text on.
