How to place social proof so it actually converts
"Add a testimonials section." [MOSTLY MYTH] It spread because a wall of quotes looks like effort. The truth: a graveyard of testimonials at the bottom is where proof goes to die. Sequence it against doubt instead:
— List the top 3 objections in buying order (too expensive, won't work for me, hard to set up).
— Match one specific proof to each: a price-justifying quote, a same-industry case, a fast-onboarding screenshot.
— Place each proof immediately after you raise the matching claim, not in a separate ghetto.
— Kill any testimonial without a name, face, or number. Anonymous praise reads as fabricated.
The nuance the slogan skipped: proof isn't a section, it's an answer. Sprinkle answers where questions are born, and the bottom-page wall becomes unnecessary.
