— Ahrefs Content Explorer: use when you want sites that ALREADY rank and have traffic. Filter DR 30-60, organic traffic 1k+. Clean, but everyone else scrapes the same list, so editors are spammed numb.
— Google footprints ("write for us" + niche, inurl:guest-post): use when you want untapped, weird, smaller blogs nobody's hammering. Replies come back warmer.

My rule: Ahrefs for the 20% that move the needle, footprints for volume. I pulled 140 footprint sites last week, 11 said yes. Ahrefs list? 3 yeses, all wanted $400.
