My 4-step audio test before I touch an edit
Stopped guessing on sounds last month. Now I run this every time:
— Open Reels tab, scroll 20 vids, screenshot any audio with the arrow-up icon
— Tap the sound, check the post count: under 8k uses = early, over 200k = already cooked
— Sort the sound page by 'recent', if top 9 vids are all under 3 days old, it's climbing
— Check view spread: if a 400-follower account got 90k on it, the audio is carrying weight
Do this today: build a 5-sound shortlist in your saved folder before you film anything.
