Q: Pour budget into scaling my one winning shoppable video, or test new angles?
A: Watch the frequency, not just the ROAS.
Scaling a winner is the safe play — until ad frequency climbs past ~2–3 and the same people see it repeatedly. Then conversion sags and your cost per sale creeps up even though the video 'still works.'
Testing new angles costs you short-term efficiency but builds a bench of creatives so you're never stuck when the winner fatigues — and creative fatigue is when, not if.
Rule I run: scale the winner hard while frequency is low, but always keep 20–30% of budget testing fresh hooks. The day the winner dies, you already know the next one.
Also worth knowing: same product, new hook beats new product, same hook — it's almost always the opening three seconds that's tired, not the offer.
