— Pass 1: cut every word before the verb. 'So today I'm gonna show you' is dead weight
— Pass 2: front-load the payoff or the conflict ('This editor cost me $0 and beat Premiere')
— Pass 3: add a visual that contradicts the words — pattern interrupt
— Pass 4: read it out loud in 2 seconds. Too long? Cut again
— Pass 5: make sure the spoken hook and the on-screen text aren't identical
