More follow-ups vs. better-spaced ones
Popular advice: "Send seven follow-ups — most replies come after the fifth touch."
Myth. That stat comes from sales decks selling you sequencer seats, not from creators. Seven emails in two weeks doesn't read as diligence; it reads as a leak you can't stop, and it earns the spam button, not the reply. Two or three touches spaced across weeks — long enough that you've reappeared, not crowded them — beats a barrage every time. It's not the number of follow-ups, it's the silence between them that makes the next one land.
