LEAK: your smart-link is silently routing premium clicks to a junk fallback offer
Word from a media buyer: a crypto smart-link 'optimizing' across exchanges was dumping his best Tier-1 traffic into a low-CPA fallback whenever the top offer hit a cap or a geo block — and he never saw it because the dashboard only showed blended numbers.
The so-what: aggregated smart-links hide which exchange actually got your premium clicks. A cap or geo-restriction on the good offer quietly reroutes your money to the worst-paying one in the rotation.
— The fix: break out conversions per END offer, not per smart-link. If a fallback is eating more than a sliver of premium geo clicks, kill the rotation and go direct.
— Set explicit geo rules so Tier-1 clicks never fall back to a Tier-3 payout.
The convenience of a smart-link is exactly where the leak hides. Watch this.
