Unescaped quotes are silently breaking your JSON-LD

A classic that still tops error logs: a product name or article headline containing a raw double-quote, ampersand, or an unescaped </script> sequence inside the JSON-LD block. The parser hits invalid JSON and discards the entire script — not just the bad field — so one stray character zeroes out all your markup on the page.

What it means for you: emit JSON-LD through a real JSON encoder, never string concatenation in a template. Blade, Twig, and handlebars partials that interpolate raw user content are the recurring offender. A literal </script> in a description must be escaped as <\/script> or it terminates the block early.

Watch this: validators that accept pasted JSON won't catch the template-level breakage — test the rendered live URL, always.
