Video Views vs Completion Rate in the dashboard
Two metrics that sound alike. Video Views counts how many people watched (even briefly). Completion Rate is the share of viewers who watched your video all the way to the end.
How to use each:
— Video Views: tells you reach and how far the ad spread.
— Completion Rate: tells you if the video actually holds attention — a much better creative signal.
The tradeoff: high views with low completion means people scroll past fast; the algorithm noticed but viewers didn't care. Lots of views can flatter a weak creative.
Try this: open one ad and read Completion Rate before Views. If completion is low, your first 3 seconds need work, not your budget. Don't worry — a weak hook is the most common and most fixable problem.
