Forgetting to tell people what to do next
New to writing ads? Beginners describe how great their product is and then... stop. No clear next action. The reader nods and scrolls on.
A Sponsored Content post (the ad in the LinkedIn feed) needs an obvious call to action (CTA = the instruction telling them what to do, like "Download the guide").
The fix: end every ad with one specific ask, and match the button to it. If your text says "Get the checklist," set the button to "Download," not the vague default "Learn More."
Think of it like giving directions but never saying "turn here."
Why it matters: people do what you clearly ask, not what you hint at.
Next step: rewrite one ad to end with a single, specific action.
