No. The native platform reporting your conversions is the same party billing you for the traffic. That is not a conflict of interest; it's the conflict of interest, in tracking form.
A dedicated tracker (Voluum, RedTrack, BeMob, or even a clean server-side setup) gives you site-level and click-ID-level truth the platform won't volunteer — duplicate conversions, post-click timing anomalies, attribution the network would rather smear in its favor.
When the platform pixel is fine:
— Tiny budgets where a tracker's cost outweighs the leakage.
Everywhere it's not:
— Any spend you'd be sad to lose 20% of.
Trusting the seller's scoreboard is the oldest mistake in media buying. Native just dresses it in a nicer dashboard.
