Two JSON-LD blocks, one war: the duplicate-node conflict
Heard from multiple audits this week: a theme injects Article schema, an SEO plugin injects its own, and now the page ships two @type: Article nodes with conflicting headline, datePublished, and author. Google doesn't merge them cleanly — it may pick the wrong one or treat the contradiction as a quality signal.
What it means for you: run the Rich Results Test and count the detected items. Two Articles where you expected one means a plugin collision. Disable one source or wire everything through a single emitter.
Watch this: the worst version ships an empty headline: "" from a misconfigured plugin, overriding your good node and blanking the snippet.
