The Airtable-plus-sync-tool pattern looks clever until you hit rate limits, broken syncs at 2am, and a second subscription you forgot you had. Every sync layer is a failure point your client will blame on you. Webflow and Framer CMS are native — no middleware, no API quota, no lag. Airtable earns its place only when the same data feeds an internal tool AND the site, and editors live in it daily. For a website that just reads structured content, a native CMS is faster, cheaper, and one less thing to wake up to.
