Paying per click vs per thousand views
Today: two ways to pay. CPC means "cost per click" — you pay only when someone taps your push. CPM means "cost per thousand impressions" — you pay for every thousand times your push is shown, tapped or not.
Which is safer for you?
— Start with CPC. It protects beginners: if nobody taps, you spend almost nothing while you learn.
— Move to CPM later, when your creative gets good taps. Then paying per view can be cheaper per click and unlocks more volume.
Think of CPC as paying only for guests who walk through the door, and CPM as renting the billboard whether or not anyone looks.
Try this: find both pricing options in your source and note which one your campaign defaults to. No change needed today.
