MOVING: negative carryover is the RevShare clause nobody reads until month three
Heard that a mid-size affiliate got a $0 payout on a RevShare deal that should've paid five figures. Reason: negative carryover. A handful of his users won big against the house, the exchange's net went negative on his account, and that loss rolled into the next month — and the next.
The so-what: on RevShare for any exchange with a house edge (perps, prediction, casino-style), a few winners can zero you out for a quarter. Flat CPA can't do that to you.
— The fix: get negative carryover struck from the contract, or capped at one month with a hard reset.
— Can't get it removed? Then RevShare is a CPA in disguise on that offer — price it accordingly and keep volume low.
The networks that reset carryover monthly don't advertise it. Ask. Watch this.
