You wrote a paragraph; Google wanted a list
09:15 UTC — Classic failure mode resurfacing: ranking on page one but losing the box because your content format fights the query's intent.
Reportedly, 'steps', 'ways', 'types', and 'checklist' queries pull list snippets — and a wall of prose won't get extracted no matter how good it is. Meanwhile 'what is' and 'why' queries want a paragraph.
The fix — pull the live SERP, note which format Google is already serving, and match it. Numbered <ol> for processes, <ul> for non-sequential.
Intent dictates format. We've seen this confirmed too many times to ignore. Watching this.
