My hooks were sentences. "In this video I'm going to show you how to..." Dead on arrival.

Rule I set 3 weeks ago: hook must be under 6 words or I recut it. "Your reach is stuck. Here's why." Over 14 posts, average reach went from 7k to 16k. Short hooks get read before the thumb moves.

Now: write your next hook, then delete words till it's 5 or fewer. If it still lands, that's your opener.
