Negotiate by email or by call?
New to deals? Start here. You can push back on a brand's offer in writing (email) or live (a call). Both work, but they suit different moments.
Why it matters: email gives you time to think, a written record, and no pressure to answer on the spot. A call builds warmth and lets you read their tone, but it's easy to agree too fast when someone's friendly.
Simple example: they send $600. By email you can calmly reply 'my rate for this scope is $900' and walk away to think. On a call you might cave to '$650, deal?' before you've done the math.
Your move: keep numbers in email. Use calls for relationship, never for first commitments.
