Adding 5 words of proof changed everything
A teacher wanted to be quoted on education topics but kept getting passed over. One small edit fixed it.
1. Old answers signed off as just "Maria, teacher."
2. New answers added 5 words: "15 years teaching 4th grade." Nothing else changed.
3. In the next month, her wins went from 1 to 4.
Why? Writers must tell readers why your opinion counts. "15 years teaching 4th grade" gives them that line for free. "Teacher" alone makes them work for it.
Think of it like a chef's apron with the restaurant's name — it tells people you belong in the kitchen.
This proof is called a credential: a short fact showing why you'd actually know. Pick the one that fits each topic.
Try this today: write one five-word credential about your main topic and add it to every answer.
