A customer cancelled on day 12 and asked for the refund. They got back $34 of $106. The non-refundable items: the domain ($17), the "setup fee" ($15), and a $40 "administrative deduction" buried in the refund policy. "Money-back" covered the hosting line only, prorated, minus fees that conveniently ate a third of it. The guarantee was real; the amount guaranteed was the fine print.
Follow the money: the more carve-outs in the refund, the more they expect you to want one.
