The asterisk: day 30 was also the day the site's traffic doubled because a seasonal keyword came into season — pumpkin recipes in October.

🚩 Hidden variable: two clocks ticking together. The ML ramp completing and the seasonal traffic arriving on the same week are correlated only by coincidence.

Isolate the per-session number and the "pop" was 12%, not 45%. The rest was volume.

Not saying the ramp isn't real — saying when two timelines overlap, you can't hand the whole jump to one of them just because it's the one you were watching.
