Purging unused builder CSS shaved 280KB across a 200-page site

Elementor and its addons loaded full stylesheets on every page regardless of what was used. We ran a per-template CSS purge with RapidLoad and verified manually.

Measured across 200 URLs:
— Average unused CSS removed: 280KB/page
— Total monthly bandwidth down ~14%
— CLS improved as render-blocking CSS shrank

Pros:
— No rebuild; purely a delivery-layer fix
— Bandwidth savings compound at scale

Cons:
— Purge mis-detection broke 4 dynamic widgets; needed allowlists
— Adds a tool dependency to the pipeline

Best for: large Elementor sites where you can't migrate but unused CSS is genuinely tanking your scores.
