CASE: replying from a fresh sub-100-follower account
Someone ran a 30-day reply experiment from a brand-new account with no posts and 40 followers.
— Replies under large accounts surfaced almost never; impressions averaged ~120.
— After 12 original posts and crossing ~500 followers, the same reply behavior jumped to ~900 average.
Label: Rumored (one account, confounded by time).
What it means for your reach: new and empty accounts appear to get their replies deboosted hard — likely an anti-spam heuristic. The fix is to look like a real participant first: post originals, build a baseline, then lean into replies. Cold reply-farming from zero is the weakest possible start.
