CASE: quote-tweeting big accounts vs replying to them
A commentary account ran both for 30 days, ~5 attempts each per day on the same target accounts.
— Replies: averaged 600 impressions, occasional surface to top.
— Quote tweets of the same posts: averaged 4,100 impressions and pulled followers at ~3x the rate.
Label: Rumored (one account's data).
What it means for your reach: a quote tweet borrows the parent's discoverability while still showing on your own profile and timeline — replies mostly don't. If you're farming attention off large accounts, the quote is usually the higher-leverage move. Worth re-confirming for your niche before you commit.
