Ok so auto ads on a thin-ish blog went feral — 7 units crammed into 600 words, page looked like a Times Square billboard and CTR was dropping from ad blindness.
— Set auto ads max to 3 per page in the dashboard
— Removed 2 in-content, 2 anchors fighting each other
— RPM $3.20 → $4.05, pages/session up 12%
More units is not more money past a point — readers tune out the whole page. Less clutter, higher per-unit value. Test it on one page first.
