Q: Does pinning a 'how to buy' comment actually move sales, or is that a myth?

Q: Does pinning a 'how to buy' comment actually move sales, or is that a myth?

A: A home-fragrance seller tested it cleanly. On a video doing 240K views they pinned a comment reading 'Tap the yellow cart icon, bottom-left, to grab it' with the product tag right there. Same product, same creator, an earlier post with no pinned comment converted at 0.8% of viewers who tapped through. The pinned-comment version hit 1.9% tap-through and 31 sales versus 11. The fix wasn't the offer, it was removing the 'where do I even click' friction. Product tag = the clickable item pinned to a post.

Also worth knowing: keep the instruction literal ('yellow cart, bottom-left'), not vague ('link in bio'). The icon position is the part people genuinely miss.
