Popular advice: include a clear CTA — book a call.
Myth. A meeting is the single highest-cost yes you can request from a stranger. You're asking someone who doesn't know you to surrender a calendar slot and risk a sales ambush. The clarity of the CTA doesn't lower the price of saying yes.
It's not that you need a CTA — it's that the first CTA should be nearly free. Ask a question, request a one-word reply, float a resource. Earn the meeting on touch two, not touch one.
