"It's all in Git" is the developer's version of "my host does backups."
Git has your code. It does not have your database, your user uploads, your .env secrets, your production config, your cron entries, or your SSL certs. It has the recipe, not the meal.
And if your only Git remote is one GitHub account, one suspension or one compromised token erases your "backup" too.
Code is the cheapest thing to recreate. Data and state are the expensive parts, and Git holds none of it.
Git is version control, not disaster recovery. Change my mind.
