Threads gives you one bio link, so the link-in-bio layer (Linktree, Beacons, Bio.fm) still matters. The question is which one's analytics actually attribute Threads traffic.

Beacons (free tier generous): cleaner referrer breakdown, saw Threads as a distinct source.
Linktree (free, $5/mo Starter for stats): popular, but its free analytics lump Threads into vague 'other' more often.

Cons: Threads' in-app browser sometimes strips UTM-less referrers, so neither is perfectly accurate. Linktree's real analytics sit behind the paywall.

Annoying limit: you still can't schedule the bio link to change with a campaign on free tiers.

Verdict: Beacons for free attribution. Worth it.
