Think it through. If pointing 1,000 links fast at a site auto-triggered a penalty, every competitor would've nuked you by lunch for $50 on a marketplace.
That apocalypse never came. Google publicly stated they discount junk links rather than punish the target — because they HAD to, or the web would be a demolition derby.
The same mechanism protecting you from sabotage protects you from your own "too fast" panic. Bad fast links get ignored, not avenged.
