— Day 4: "bumping this — angle 2 still open?"
— Day 9: forward the original, one line: "last nudge, then I'll stop"

That day-9 "I'll stop" line pulls more yeses than the first email. People hate losing the thing about to vanish.

Half my placements come from follow-up 2 or 3. The first email just plants the seed.
